An old school model that just doesn’t get the same attention that it used to is the ancient concept of the street team. I’m sure that it’s still a thing in certain places but not exactly something we’ve ever taken the time with, but have been contemplating and stewing over the idea for a while. A number of ideas have come to the forefront but none of them with the kind of gas that it takes to actually get behind.
Now, we’re taking steps to implement this model with some updated flavors, now that the subscription tier model has taken precedent on the world wide web. Unsure exactly where the idea is coming from, per se, however the motivation was always in place to find ways to connect with an audience that might not have the financial over head to part with in order to invest in a project like ours. So while we attempt to manage the burden that comes with our operational costs, we’re not letting anything become a burrier to being involved in a manifest way that transcends and bridges the gap between the digital realm, and the real world.
In comes the eUangel Street Team! Taking all the old school benefits of the street team, with a flair for the digital social system at play on media platforms like X, Instagram, TikTok, and the like. A eUangel (prounounced “You-Angel”) Street Team member can earn their position on a subscriber tier by being engaged with promotional campaigns for events on on social media. We’ll set a number of campaign tasks to complete, like posting a tiktok, reel, or post on any social media platform of choice tagging the band, posting up printed posters at local businesses for events, using Good God Father music in your reels.
Depending on the campaign tasks you happen to achieve will determine the reward upon completion. We’ll be planning the campaign to meet the balanced value for effort exchange. So this is our invitation to you to be thinking about how to build up of the Good God Father brand with graphics ideas, art concepts, messages, reels, shares, printing, promoting and improving the all around culture of our events and online presence. If you’ve been following our work so far, hopefully it’s as apparent to you as we intend it to be, the we’re an Evangelistic effort. We’re compelled by our love of Jesus Christ, the message of His Gospel of forgiveness and eternal life, and the love of all of the Saints in human history until this point who all have been “filling up what was lacking” in the blood of Jesus, to deliver and preserve to us today, the unending and unfailing love of the One and Only truly Good God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who’s heart is to save, redeem, and restore His image in the hearts of all of the human race. We don’t pretend to suppose ourselves to have perfectly attained to that understanding, but we’re hanging on to what we’ve got with our dear lives, and spending every ounce of our effort and energy in to working out what has been instilled and cultivated in us for the sake of being a blessing to as many as possible, and hearing those sacred words, “well done my good and faithful servant”, one day.
By inviting you in that help you’re sharing with us that same calling to go out to the highways, byways, and hedges of the cold streets of this country to bring as many as possible to a table where some true goodness might be tasted and seen. We understand it’s never an easy decision to part ways with a dollar, because that dollar might mean your next meal. This is a work around to be sure that if there’s anything that would get in the way of taking part of the Good God Father lifestyle, let it not be a dollar. But the one who “doesn’t work, shouldn’t eat”. We can’t just cast our pearls to swine. It’s necessary to demonstrate a model of value so that a people so impoverished of value can see for themselves how value can be increased. Sometimes, all it takes is a little collaboration.
