After many months of waiting, Good God Father’s latest single production, Wedding Supper of the Lamb, has officially hit the digital shelves of Spotify, Amazon, YouTube, iTunes, as well as the media libraries of TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Snapchat, and many others. The song has been available for streaming and download on the platform, backed.by, since April of 2024, being made public exclusively on the I Love Shanny Show, and the Never Ending Radio show, where the song has been receiving a consistent rotation, on a 24/7 internet radio streaming website.
In tandem with the release, the art for the release was translated in to a graphic for print on a line of products through the newly established CafePress Shop. On that site, the image has been made available in an array of over 200 products through this print to order service. Another product design from Rubii Graphics is available through ToneThreads which was commissioned upon the inspiration of the thematic content of the song.
Simultaneously with the release, the band’s frontman, Sean Lewis, also published an essay going in to some detail regarding the background to the content inpiring the song on the official Good God Father Herald webpage. The song is a deeply personal song, as it was written to be the song which, Teal Lewis, Sean’s wife, walked down the aisle to at their wedding ceremony, which occurred on July 7, 2007. There is a rich array of avenues to explore there, when it comes to the full synopsis. For the full article, go to https://www.goodgodfather.co/homepage/herald/behind-the-song-wedding-supper
The band has no plans for any live performances, as of the release of this statement, as they are currently at work developing more music for future material. Wedding Supper of the Lamb is a single track which will make up one of the listings to be included in the full length LP, I Pray You, which is currently in production. No date is yet set for release of I Pray You, as the project is still to be completed, and funded.
The band is completely crowd funded and depends entirely on the contributions and support of their listeners through streaming plays, merchandise sales, and subscription services, such as on Backed.by, and Patreon. More merchandise options are available from the Good God Father Shop Page of the Official website of the band, as well as their Bandcamp page.
