This is the first installment in what is anticipated an ongoing series on the issue of Satan, Satanism, Luciferianism, and the occult. A recurring phenomenon in the American conspiracy lexicon, the Satanic Panic is regarded with a wide array of reactions. From those who are skeptics and cynics, to those who are die hard believers. But those of us who have no idea what that is, or what it means, where do we start?
Xwan begins the process of answering those questions in this first episode in the new Normie Believer’s Guide series, where we take on these serious issues, questions and concerns, and deliver on the key points for the Normie Believer, who’s just trying to live their best life, serving God, as a faithful believer, who knows they should be equipped with the answers for the hope within them.
In this first stop, we take a look at two experts in the language of the Bible, who address the word, and where it comes from and what it means. The first is Nehemia Gordon who earned his PhD from Bar-Ilan University in Biblical Studies, and the clip comes from a series he broadcasts on YouTube, studying the New Testament in Hebrew. The second clip comes from a Bible Project podcast video where PhD in Semitic Languages and Biblical Studies, Tim Mackie, explains the concepts behind the Biblical understanding of “THE” Satan, as a title, rather than a name.

And the final clip in this episode is to cite the direct source of the PR team representing the Church of Satan in an interview with a less academic source, the Rev. Bob Larson, who’s been awarded the honorary title of “Doctor of Divinity” Spiritual Freedom Church where he served as senior pastor, as well as the International School of Exorcism, a school which he helped to launch. In this TV style interview, the exorcist sits down with Zeena and Nikolas Schreck. The married team represented the Church of Satan, established by Anton LaVey, during the height of the Satanic Panic in the late 80s, and conducted a number of interviews. While the couple are no longer married, nor are they representing that particular religious body, in this interview, Xwan, emphasizes the elitist characteristic of the philosophy underlying the spiritual understanding of the organization.
